Consulate not Responsible for incomplete Cheques sent by applicants

Instances have come to the notice of the Consulate that some applicants are sending Money Orders/Cashier’s cheques towards fees for various services without writing beneficiary’s and sender's name on the Cheques/Money Orders.

The Cheques/Money Orders should invariably be complete in all respects including the beneficiary’s (Consulate General of India) and sender's name and address.

The Consulate will not accept/be responsible for any incomplete Cheques/Money orders sent to the Consulate.

All cheques should mention that they are payable to the Consulate General of India.
