The Indian Council for Cultural Relations has a Cultural Scholarship Scheme for training in Indian art forms.

The student has the choice of joining a regular course in an institution such as Kalakshetra, Shanti Niketan etc. or training with a guru in the guru-shishya tradition.

The scholarship is initially for one year only, to be renewed annually upto a maximum of three years.
